Adam's blog where he posts random shit--mostly pictures and sketches. He also hangs out a lot at www.homebr00d.com and, in his spare time, he likes to mythologize himself by referring to His Greatness in the third person.

A little time lapse I did before leaving Korea.

Seoul Olympic Bridge Time Lapse Test. The auto focus was on accidentally so the video is a bit jittery. No post processing.

That Steven Soderbergh and Sasha Grey film was bullshit. This is how it really is.

Here are some misc. sketches from this month. Clearly I was influenced by the watching the entire Miami Ink series, True Blood and revisiting the awesome Dinotopia paintings by James Gurney. Warning: it’s a huuuge file.

Scribbles

I decided to post random comics up here, comics that don’t fit in the Homebr00d narrative but that I wanted to draw up anyways.

Goodbye Sharpies

New pens! Well, technically, they’re considered “brush pens”, but either way they’re amazing and cheap. I got these two a couple of months ago for about $2/each at an art store in Seoul. Below you can see the two different sizes and, depending on the pressure applied, you can get some really good line variation as well. I had the Pentel Brush Pen ($30) —the one used by comic inkers—but I lost it a while ago. These two are great inking alternatives that I’ve been using exclusively to ink Homebr00d sketches. Oh yeah and they’re refillable.

Oh SHIT, here is the new kitchen—which is now in its fourth iteration?—from a number of aerial views. I’m pretty happy with it although I wish I had the time to make some cartoon wood textures for the cabinets and table. The next step is redoing the living room! Why do all this? Well it gets a little tedious continually redrawing the same background. Also, this is one of the most effective ways to keep the apartment layout consistent. But who knows how long this will last.

Three pics of a bust using Super Sculpey, unbaked and unpainted, that I thought I’d throw up.
